topMiniature Games
Find Your Next Tabletop BattlefieldMiniature wargaming is three hobbies in one. There is the craft of assembling and painting an army until it looks the way you pictured it, the strategy of maneuvering units across terrain for the perfect shot, and the long satisfaction of a collection that grows game after game. Some players live for game night, others for the paint table, and plenty just love building out an army. Every one of them has a home here, newcomers included. We carry tabletop miniatures games old and new, so you can dive into a sprawling galactic war or command a historical force across the battlefield anytime you want.DaysHoursMinsSecsFrequently Asked Questions
What miniature games do you carry?
We stock a wide range of tabletop miniatures games, including Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar from Games Workshop, Star Wars Legion, Halo: Flashpoint, BattleTech, and Dropfleet Commander, plus historical wargames like Bolt Action and Konflikt '47, Flames of War, and Team Yankee.
I am brand new. What is the best way to start?
Pick a game whose models and setting grab you, then grab a starter set. A starter gives you miniatures, rules, and the core pieces two players need for a first game, which makes it the easiest on-ramp into the hobby. From there you can expand your army at your own pace.
Do I have to paint my miniatures?
Not at all, but most hobbyists end up loving it. Painting is part the appeal for a lot of players, and an army you painted yourself hits different on the table. We carry the paints, brushes, and hobby tools you need, and our staff is happy to point you toward beginner-friendly techniques.
What else do I need besides the miniatures?
Beyond your models, most games call for dice, a tape measure, and something to play over. A terrain set also helps bring the battlefield to life and gives your units cover to fight around. We stock the extras that round out a game, so you can put together everything you need in one trip.
Can I come play in store?
Absolutely. We are a local game store in Escondido with tables open for games, hobby nights, and events. Stop in to build a list, get painting advice, find an opponent, or just browse the shelves and talk shop with people who love this hobby as much as you do.
