This piratical expansion for Warhammer 40,000 gives everyone new ways to play games in the 41st Millennium, from narrative-focused campaigns to creating your own characters. The books explore the Maelstrom and the ruthless warlords who call it home, as well as introducing the Crucible of Champions, a system for building your own heroes, plus a campaign to play through. – The Maelstrom: Lair of the Tyrant – An 80-page hardback book featuring lore and background about the Maelstrom, and the many piratical elements who vie for control.
– The Maelstrom: Lair of the Tyrant – Crucible of Champions – A 64-page hardback book with special rules for creating your very own Crucible Champion for every faction in the game.
– The Maelstrom: Lair of the Tyrant – Raid and Ruin – A 48-page hardback book offering a narrative campaign to gain power and loot in the Maelstrom, as well as matched play missions – you'll find 12 Incursion missions, ten Raid and Ruin missions, and two Mayhem missions.
– The Maelstrom: Lair of the Tyrant – Detachments – A 16-page softcover booklet including two new detachments for Chaos Space Marines (Huron's Marauders and Renegade Warband) and Aeldari (Eldritch Raiders and Corsair Coterie), one for the Orks (Freebooter Krew) and another for the Leagues of Votann (Mercenary Oathband).
This expansion is only available while stocks last.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Preorder deposit policy: Preorder deposits cannot be canceled. For orders that are to be shipped emails will go out once distribution confirms the order so you can pay the balance due on the order including shipping. Orders that will be picked up in store can be paid for in store. Balances due must be paid in full within a week of the release date. After that the deposit will be forfeited and returned to stock. Should any cuts or allocations occur and your order cannot be filled at release the order will be cancelled and refunded.
Paid in full preorder policy: Preorders that are paid in full upfront will have a 25% cancelation fee. Orders not picked up within a week of the release will be cancelled and refunded less the cancellation fee unless. If you can’t make it within a week of release just let us know so arrangements can be made
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like sealed TCG products or singles. (unless there was an error on condition or card) Events tickets can be canceled up to 24 hours before the start time of the event. after that are non-refundable. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
