This a sealed deck event and will require a unmodified starter deck. Participants can bring their own or purchase one in store.
Participants will receive 2 Retail packs and 1 Kick starter pack of Beyond the Gates that they can use to modify their decks.
Players will open one Starter Deck (or use their own) and improve it with the addition of the 3 packs to create a new deck.
- Minimum deck size is 40 cards Hero included, with players able to play cards from 3 different factions.
- Players may use any cards they open in their 3 Booster Packs to modify their Starter Deck.
- Heroes opened in the 3 Booster Packs may be used instead of the Starter Deck Hero as long as it is within one of the 3 factions they have selected for their deck.
- Players may make modifications to their deck between rounds.
4 rounds, best-of-one with a 30 minute deckbuilding time limit and a 30 minutes round limit
We will be running through a demo of the game 30 minutes before the event starts. If you are looking to learn how to play, please arrive early, the demo starts at 4pm.
All participants will receive a Beyond the Gates Kick Starter pack for playing the event.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Preorder deposit policy: Preorder deposits cannot be canceled. For orders that are to be shipped emails will go out once distribution confirms the order so you can pay the balance due on the order including shipping. Orders that will be picked up in store can be paid for in store. Balances due must be paid in full within a week of the release date. After that the deposit will be forfeited and returned to stock. Should any cuts or allocations occur and your order cannot be filled at release the order will be cancelled and refunded.
Paid in full preorder policy: Preorders that are paid in full upfront will have a 25% cancelation fee. Orders not picked up within a week of the release will be cancelled and refunded less the cancellation fee unless. If you can’t make it within a week of release just let us know so arrangements can be made
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like sealed TCG products or singles. (unless there was an error on condition or card) Events tickets can be canceled up to 24 hours before the start time of the event. after that are non-refundable. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
